Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. You will manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, support consolidated financial reporting, and assist with audits while administering key accounting systems.

This US-based remote role requires collaboration with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and IT, and aligns with teams across a global organization. Eastern Time work hours apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting for leases, legal accruals, bonuses, debt, and capitalized IT expenditures.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement prep, footnotes, and schedules.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and consolidate multi-entity results.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly close calls and monitor deadlines.
• Administer Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator; troubleshoot system issues.
