Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. This role will drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidate financial results across entities and currencies, and provide audit support in a global environment. The position is US-based and remote, aligned to Eastern Time.

You will coordinate cross-functional activities with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and IT, ensuring accurate, audit-ready documentation and effective close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification.
• Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP.
• Experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
• Hands-on close, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support close of key corporate workstreams (leases, accruals, debt, IT expenditures).
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and tie-outs.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and schedules.
• Coordinate consolidation of entities and currencies, including intercompany eliminations.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close activities and monitor deadlines.
• Troubleshoot Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator issues.
