Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, assist with financial reporting, and support audits across a global organization.

This US-based remote role requires Eastern Time Zone hours. You will collaborate with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and IT to ensure accurate, compliant financial statements and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
• Hands-on month-end and quarterly close, journal entries, reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting for leases, legal accruals, bonus and commission accruals, debt, and capitalized IT expenditures.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, including schedules and footnotes.
• Ensure audit-ready financial statement support and documentation.
• Coordinate consolidation of multiple entities and currencies, including intercompany eliminations.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close calls and track deadlines; resolve bottlenecks.
• Administer Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator and troubleshoot issues.
