Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team and producers. You will help with renewals, submissions, and data accuracy while ensuring quality and compliance.

Working remotely with occasional on-site requirements, you will participate in team activities, monitor workload, and contribute to delivering exceptional service to clients and carriers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required, professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Work under the general direction of an Account Manager (AM), Account Executive (AE), or Producer.
• Independently resolve moderately complex customer service problems and manage small-sized accounts or those with the least complex needs.
• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and renewals; process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related tasks.
• Assist in analyzing loss runs, preparing submissions, and negotiating coverages and pricing.
• Review contracts for proper coverages and manage accounts receivable and data integrity.
