Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring quality standards and timely renewals.

In this remote role, you will work under guidance of an Account Manager or Producer, handling endorsements, submissions, and contract reviews while maintaining data accuracy across systems. Collaboration and proactive service are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
Solid knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
Track policy expirations for existing clients; ensure renewals on time.
Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing tasks.
Support new and renewal business; gather underwriting information and proposals.
Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
Communicate workload status with the account team.
Deliver proactive service and uphold IOA values.
