Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer. You will help manage policy renewals, endorsements, and client submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, processing tasks efficiently, and maintaining data across agency systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:direct day-to-day activities of support staff and Accounts team.
• Policy Management:track expirations and ensure timely renewals.
• Task Processing:handle endorsements, audits, invoices and binders.
• New/Renewal Support:assist with submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals and issuance.
• Contract Review:assist in ensuring proper coverages.
• Accounts Receivable:monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• System Maintenance:maintain agency systems and data accuracy.
• Activity Monitoring:keep suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communication:update account team on workload and issues.
• Service Excellence:deliver proactive, responsive service.
• Policy Compliance:stay updated on policies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement:adopt best practices to improve performance.
