Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team. You will work under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer, ensuring timely renewals and accurate policy information for assigned accounts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and proactive service across policy management, client research, and submissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and renewals for clients.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and invoicing.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare proposals, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and seek improvements.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
