Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring timely renewals and accurate policy management. The role involves working under supervision of Account Managers, handling complex service issues and supporting small to mid-sized accounts.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service with knowledge of brokerage processes, strong communication, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and invoicing.
• Assist in preparing submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, and present proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
