Job summary

Team Carney is seeking a Senior Accessibility Subject Matter Expert to lead Section 508 compliance, governance, and ICT quality assurance for a federal client. The role focuses on high‑level testing, remediation, and advising on accessibility risks across the SDLC.

The position is fully remote, with work based out of Fredericksburg, VA, and contingent on contract award. DHS Trusted Tester and CPACC certifications are required, along with a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in ICT environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of ICT experience in ICT environments.
• 2+ years testing web content for 508 conformance.
• 2+ years testing and remediating electronic documents to 508 standards.
• 3+ years supporting ICT projects by integrating Section 508 requirements across lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-level Section 508 testing of web content and documents.
• Review test results and provide end-to-end remediation.
• Evaluate Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) / VPATs for projects.
• Advise teams and leadership on accessibility risks across the SDLC.
• Serve as back-up to the Government Section 508 Program as needed.
