Job summary

Liberty Resources, Inc. is seeking a Self-Pay Account Representative to support patient account management and revenue cycle activities for our School-Based Health Services program. This remote role emphasizes excellent customer service and accurate account management.

You will manage inbound and outbound calls about balances, collect payments, establish payment plans, and assist families with billing inquiries while contributing to month-end reporting and ensuring accurate records.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred and/or medical billing and collections training.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• NextGen EHR experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls regarding balances, billing statements, and payment options.
• Collect and process patient payments
• Establish payment plans and financial agreements
• Assist patients and families with billing inquiries
• Document account activity and maintain accurate records
• Support month-end reporting and reconciliation processes
• Resolve customer service issues and account concerns
