• 1+ year experience in hospital/physician backend revenue cycle; billing, posting, follow-up, collections.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Identify payment details and save backups as needed.
• Research, validate, and adjust payment postings for resolution.
• Initiate payer recoupments, refunds for payers and patients as applicable.
• Navigate payer claim portals and understand payer functionality.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Operate computers and office equipment and various software.
• Read computer monitors and documents in English.
