Job summary

ECAM is seeking a Remote Services Technician I to be on the front line of smart security and technical support in Addison, TX. You will troubleshoot network video recorders, IP cameras, audio devices, and basic networking, handling inquiries from technicians and clients with calm professionalism.

The role requires strong problem-solving, clear communication under pressure, and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a technology role, preferably with basic tech support.
• Experience with CCTV IP cameras and VMS is beneficial.
• Knowledge of remote troubleshooting tools (VNC/TeamViewer/Splashtop) and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer, process, and document incoming calls from technicians and customers.
• Execute troubleshooting steps and identify root causes.
• Maintain call/ticket ownership with timely resolutions and updates.
• Assist Project Management in setting up new monitoring accounts.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-tier specialists or dispatch as needed.
• Provide guidance to field technicians over the phone.
• Collaborate with client/3rd party personnel to resolve network issues.
