Job summary

ECAM is seeking a Remote Services Technician I to serve as the first contact for technicians and clients, troubleshooting CCTV/IP cameras, VMS systems, basic networking, and audio devices. You will own issues from intake to resolution while coordinating with internal teams in a fast-paced remote environment.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, clear communication under pressure, and ongoing growth within ECAM’s security technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in IT/Computing/Engineering/Business preferred.
• Professional IT certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer, process, and document incoming calls from technicians and customers.
• Troubleshoot basic IP cameras, networking issues, and audio units.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-tier specialists or field service dispatch as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide first-contact resolution.
• Maintain ownership of tickets and communicate progress to customers.
