Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation seeks a Remote Security Officer/EMT III to support remote camps on Alaska's North Slope. You will monitor, patrol, respond to emergencies, and manage access control for multiple sites while upholding health, safety and security priorities.

This role requires EMT III certification, a high school diploma, 3 years of security or related experience, and the ability to obtain Alaska licenses. You must live in dormitory settings and work a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT III certification required.
• 3 years of full-time security, law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Valid Alaska driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain Alaska Guard License and Armed Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned buildings, areas or grounds.
• Permit only authorized individuals to enter the property.
• Inspect doors, windows and gates to ensure security.
• Record data such as incidents and outages.
• Warn violators and apprehend or eject as needed.
• Notify on-site personnel of visitors requesting access.
• Respond to emergencies to protect life and property.
• Operate camp billeting and access control; manage visitors list.
• Check system operations: heating, lighting, security, fire, etc.
• Provide transportation using vehicles including buses and ATVs.
• Provide emergency medical intervention including CPR and AED.
• Meet safety and sanitation standards and report issues.
• Perform other duties as needed; no supervisory responsibilities.
