Job summary

EDB, a data and AI platform company, seeks a senior security leader to own Security Operations and Security Engineering. You will report to the CISO and shape threat detection, incident response, and preventive controls across diverse environments, driving automation and scale as the business grows.

You will partner with IT, Product, Legal, and HR to embed security into products, pipelines, and acquired entities, while maintaining a remote-first, globally distributed program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience leading security teams.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, detection, or security engineering.
• Experience scaling a security function through rapid growth and automation.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact for executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Operations and Security Engineering at EDB, reporting to the CISO.
• Own threat detection, incident response, and preventive controls across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Drive automation and agent-based solutions to extend analyst capacity.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, Legal, and HR to integrate security into platforms and processes.
