Zusammenfassung

EDB seeks a senior leader to run Security Operations and Security Engineering, reporting to the CISO. You will own threat detection, incident response, and preventive controls, scaling programs across cloud and acquired environments.

You'll partner with Governance, IT, Product and Legal to build cross-functional security measures, automate where possible, and shape the future of EDB's InfoSec function as the company grows.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of management experience leading security teams.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, detection, or security engineering.
• Track record of scaling a security function through rapid growth with automation and operating discipline.
• Strategic thinking that goes beyond the immediate scope of the role.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact for executives, legal, customers, and IT/Product counterparts.

Aufgaben

• Incident response end-to-end, from intake to after-action and improvement.
• Detection engineering, threat hunting, and the SIEM/EDR/SOAR/cloud security platforms that support them.
• Security Engineering strategy and delivery to prevent incidents, including least privilege and identity assurance.
• Insider threat program development with HR, Legal, and IT.
• Automation and agentic AI to extend analyst capacity while maintaining human ownership of decisions.
• Security integration of acquired companies and new environments into EDB's standards.
• Partnership with IT and Product leadership to embed preventive controls and support third‑party risk management.
