Job summary

EDB is seeking a security leader to run Security Operations and Security Engineering, reporting to the CISO. You will set the strategy for detection, response, and preventive controls, scaling the security program as the company grows across product, cloud, and acquired environments.

You will own the program, partner with IT and Product leadership, and drive automation and AI-enabled security to increase analysts’ effectiveness while reducing risk across a remote-first org.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years managing security teams.
• Hands-on 7+ years in security operations, incident response, detection, or security engineering.
• Track record of scaling a security function through rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response end-to-end and coordinate with Legal on investigations.
• Drive detection engineering and manage SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and cloud security platforms.
• Shape security engineering strategy with preventive controls and identity governance across orgs.
