Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Compliance Advisor for a remote-based role in the United States. You will serve as a subject matter expert on security procedures and audits, supporting SOC 1/2 and NIST 800-53 compliance while guiding access controls and education programs.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and HIPAA environment experience. Travel up to 10% may be required; competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field preferred.
• Experience in a HIPAA environment – Medicaid preferred.
• Experience working with corporate level security systems and implementation procedures.
• Experience working with corporate and government security regulations.
• Experience working with company security software products.
• Experience working with domain structures, user authentication, user profiles and digital signatures.

Responsabilidades

• Serves as a subject matter expert concerning security procedures and audit compliance.
• Responds to SOC 1, SOC 2 and NIST 800-53 external audits
• Supports threat and vulnerability management
• Conducts regular Identity Access Reviews
• Ensures that application security procedures meet business requirements and protect information
• Oversees access controls and destruction of highly sensitive information per policy
• Develops and implements detailed security procedures and coordinates security teams
• Coordinates corporate security programs to ensure policy compliance with government regulations
• Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
• Develops security education programs for appropriate personnel
• Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions
• Researches technological advancements to improve security solutions
