Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an experienced security leader to drive governance, remediation and compliance across our accounts. You will manage security incidents, audits, and risk, while coordinating with suppliers and clients to ensure contractual obligations are met.

The role emphasizes policy adherence, security tooling delivery, and clear messaging, with remote US-based work and opportunities to influence enterprise security programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in risk, audit, security, or delivery roles.
• Bachelor or master in CS/Info Security.
• Experience with HIPAA, NIST, FedRAMP and related regulations.
• Experience leading audits and remediation programs.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in diverse environments.
• Ability to influence delivery teams on security and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on security architect/engineer experience.
• Familiarity with information governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security operational governance activities
• Drive security remediation efforts and SLA/SLO adherence
• Compliance, operationally focused and security driven
• Delivery excellence in security tooling and business operations
• Relationship management with Gainwell suppliers and client
• Presentation skills that invoke confidence and clear messaging
• Create and maintain an account security plan for the selected accounts
• Manage and report security incidents from start to finish
• Manage audit preparation, facilitation and remediation
• Manage security risks and exceptions
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of security fundamentals, policies, and standards
• Escalate and resolve security issues
• Coordinate delivery of security metrics and reporting in support of contractual commitment
