Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking an experienced security professional to lead threat and vulnerability management, access controls, and audit compliance. You will guide security education programs, oversee security procedures, and ensure regulatory alignment across government and corporate policies.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and ongoing improvement of security systems to protect sensitive information and support healthcare initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Experience in a HIPAA environment – Medicaid preferred.
• Experience with corporate government security regulations.
• Experience with security software products.
• Experience with domain structures, user authentication, user profiles and digital signatures.

Responsibilities

• Responds to SOC 1, SOC 2 and NIST 800-53 external audits.
• Oversees access controls to limit data access to authorized users.
• Provides leadership and guidance to junior staff.
• Develops security education programs for personnel.
• Investigates security violations and recommends corrective actions.
