Job summary

Gainwell Technologies seeks an Information Security Officer to lead security governance, remediation, and compliance for client accounts. You will drive audits, manage incidents, and coordinate security metrics in a remote US context.

Qualifications

Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Security (or equivalent).
10+ years in risk, audit, security, or technical delivery roles.
Experience with HIPAA, NIST, MARS-E/ARC-AMPE, and FedRAMP.
Strong communication and ability to work in diverse, virtual teams.
Knowledge of security regs, audits, and remediation programs.
Hands-on security consulting/architecture/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Lead security governance activities and remediation efforts.
Ensure SLA/SLO adherence and delivery excellence for security tooling.
Manage security incidents from initiation to resolution.
Coordinate audits and remediation activities with clients and suppliers.
Maintain and report security metrics in support of contractual commitments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual security standards (NIST/ISO27001).
Escalate security issues and drive knowledge of security fundamentals across teams.
Prepare for audits and facilitate remediation efforts across accounts.
