Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst I for a remote role. You’ll respond to security alerts, investigate activity, secure accounts, and review changes to minimize events, while coordinating with the Security Team and clients. Travel is infrequent.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT security operations, hands-on EDR/SIEM experience, and strong English communication. The compensation includes medical benefits and a focus on client security excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in an IT role including log analysis, account/access management, or endpoint troubleshooting.
• Full-time role with fixed schedule; outside employment not permitted.
• Hands-on experience with at least one EDR/SIEM platform (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Defender, Sentinel).
• Experience using ConnectWise Manage for ticket documentation with audit‑ready incident notes.
• Familiarity with SIEM log correlation, Windows Event Viewer security logs (IDs 4624/4625/4648) or a ticketing queue.
• Strong customer service focus and professional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor security dashboards, queues, and alerts to detect potential threats.
• Incident Triages & Response: investigate alerts, secure user accounts, collect log data.
• Analyze findings to determine scope/severity; resolve simple issues, escalate complex cases.
• Manage routine changes to security tools and adjust settings for testing as needed.
• Collaborate with Security Team and engineers; share information and participate in discussions.
• Engage with users/clients to gather details and explain security procedures during resolution.
• Coordinate security responses across teams and document actions during inquiries.
• Maintain professional, customer-service oriented approach in all interactions.
