Job summary

Ntiva, Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst I for a remote role that supports clients across the U.S. You will monitor security dashboards, investigate alerts, and perform rapid response actions to safeguard client data.

The position requires familiarity with EDR/SIEM tools and ConnectWise Manage for structured incident documentation. Responsibilities include collaborating with security engineers, liaising with client teams, and adhering to on-call and travel expectations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cybersecurity experience.
• 3–5 years in an IT role including log analysis, account/access management, or endpoint troubleshooting.
• Full-time role requiring attendance during scheduled hours; outside employment not permitted.
• Hands-on exposure to at least one EDR/SIEM platform (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender).
• Experience using ConnectWise Manage for ticket documentation with timestamped incident notes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, queues, and alerts to detect threats.
• Investigate security alerts and perform rapid response actions.
• Escalate complex cases with clear information to Level 2 Analysts.
• Manage routine changes to security tools and review client exemptions in EDR.
• Document investigations and resolutions in ConnectWise and coordinate with teams.
