Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking a Seasonal HRIS Onboarding Specialist to ensure hire data integrity and handle onboarding workflows. This remote, full-time seasonal role covers October 5, 2026 through January 30, 2027, with occasional overtime.

You will audit background checks and E-Verify, maintain reports for HR leadership, and train leaders on HRIS usage. The position requires 3+ years in HRIS/onboarding, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HRIS or Onboarding experience.
• Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• UKG experience preferred but not required.
• Proactive team player with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and review all new hire onboarding paperwork for accuracy.
• Track audits for background checks, I-9, and E-Verify documentation.
• Maintain and update status reports for HR and retail leadership.
• Flag onboarding delays and follow up with employees and managers.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, and management as needed.
• Train leaders on HRIS and onboarding paperwork.
