Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking individuals to answer customer inquiries about goods and services from home. This BYOD role supports seasonal ordering for fruit baskets and steaks, with shifts 8:00am-10:00pm EST, Mon-Fri and every other weekend.

Training is paid, and the position is temporary with potential to convert to full- or part-time depending on attendance and performance. Compensation starts at $15 per hour, plus a differential of $1/hr for night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous 3-6 months customer service or customer support experience preferred.
• Previous 3-6 months call center or office background experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Quick learner and able to work independently.
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• A background check applicable with state and federal laws will be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of inbound or outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Address customer questions and concerns on all products and services through multiple channels (phone, email, chat).
• Follow communication scripts when handling topics.
• Identify needs, clarify information, research and provide solutions or alternatives.
• Access company and client resources to accurately handle the call.
• Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise.
• Switch between tasks without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times.
• Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions.
• Cross train as requested.
