Job summary

YipitData, a leading market research and analytics firm, seeks a Sales Development Representative to drive outbound client engagement for our alt-data products in the investment space. You’ll identify opportunities, qualify leads, and partner with Hedge Funds and Investment Managers to demonstrate the value of YipitData’s research.

This remote-friendly role can sit in NYC or anywhere in the US, with potential NY tax withholding based on location.

• 1+ year in a high velocity sales environment
• Empathetic with strong interpersonal skills and high EI

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective opportunities using outbound channels (cold calling, email, mail, Bloomberg messages)
• Qualify inbound leads and move opportunities through the funnel
• Engage hedge funds and investment managers with YipitData value props
• Collaborate with Marketing to optimize conversion
• Map organizational structures of leading funds to identify users
• Develop sales skills across Salesforce, Gong, Groove, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Asana and other tools
