Job summary

Instacart is hiring a Sales Development Representative II for the Local Independent Grocery segment. The role is remote and targets independent retailers to join the Instacart Marketplace, managing the sales cycle from outreach to qualification.

The candidate should have prior sales or business development experience, strong communication, and a proven ability to meet targets. Knowledge of SaaS, CRM tools, and grocery industry insights are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage independent retailers to join the Instacart Marketplace.
• Opportunity to manage the end-to-end sales cycle for small opportunities.
• Use cold calls and emails to identify new opportunities and establish relationships with local retailers.
• Develop sales collateral, case studies, and stories to translate benefits of Instacart’s platform.
• Work independently while collaborating with the team to achieve objectives.
• Adjust to a flexible, evolving sales environment.
