Job summary

Pearson is hiring remote Evaluation scorers to assess English 6-12 responses for Florida licensure programs and ensure scoring quality.

Qualifications: a bachelor’s degree or higher, a current teaching certificate in the subject, and five+ years of recent public-school or college teaching in that subject; Florida DOE approval required.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with remote work; scoring sessions run on weekdays 8:30 AM–4:30 PM EST, fall 2026 start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and a current teaching certification in the subject area.
• Five+ years of recent teaching experience in the subject area in a public school or college setting.
• Approval to score by the Florida Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in discussions with scorers.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements and pass a qualifying test before scoring.
