Job summary

Pearson is seeking remote scorers to evaluate responses for Florida teacher candidates. A bachelor’s degree and either a current teaching certification in the subject area or five years of recent service in a public school in that subject are required.

Approved scorers must be authorized by the Florida Department of Education. Working remotely, with training before scoring, sessions run Mon–Fri from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST, one scoring day every two weeks; fall 2026 start; not eligible for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Current teaching certification in subject area or five+ years in a public school service role in the subject area.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in scoring discussions.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements for the scoring program and pass a qualifying test.
• Scoring starts at a rate of $17.50 per hour and is remote.
