Job summary

Pearson is hiring part-time remote scoring professionals to evaluate Florida teacher candidates. You will apply scoring standards, discuss items with teammates, and meet quality and productivity benchmarks. Training precedes scoring, with weekday sessions 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST.

Starting rate is $17.50/hour with full remote work. The role begins in fall 2026, with ongoing applications accepted. Eligible applicants must work legally in the United States and hold credentials in education or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Current teaching certification in the subject area or 5+ years’ recent teaching in a public school.
• Alternatively, hold a college/university position in the same subject with at least 5 years teaching.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and engage with other scorers in scoring activities.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements and pass a qualifying test before scoring.
