Job summary

Terabase Energy seeks an Engineer to design, program, install and test SCADA and plant control systems for solar, storage, and hybrid plants. You’ll integrate RTUs, PLCs, and HMI using Ignition, with emphasis on uptime and reliability.

The role involves customer engagement, project coordination, and on-site commissioning support, with travel 20-30%. Remote work is possible from other locations in the US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IEC 61131-3/PLC programming experience.
• 0
• 2+ years of SCADA development, Ignition experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers, Developers, Owners, Utilities, EPCs, and ISOs.
• Contribute to design and development of monitoring and control systems for utility scale renewable energy projects.
• Program, install, troubleshoot, test, and commission RTUs, PLCs, & HMI's for various systems.
• Active Power Curtailment, Reactive Power Control, MET tower data acquisition.
• High Voltage substation SCADA, PPC for Solar, BESS, and EMSs.
• Coordinate with field technicians for on-site commissioning and installation support.
• Utilize diagnostic utilities to troubleshoot complex monitoring and control systems.
