Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth across Greenville and the Upstate of South Carolina. The role offers territory ownership, a strong base salary, a 2.5-year commission guarantee, and uncapped commissions with a book-of-business bonus.

Remote for South Carolina residents, with requirements to develop broker relationships, propose employee benefit solutions, and manage a broad portfolio of group benefits products nationwide.

Qualifications

• Broker-facing sales experience required.
• Licensed in Life & Health or able to obtain within 90 days of start.
• Strong CRM experience, especially Salesforce.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build productive broker relationships and identify broker needs.
• Develop insurance solutions meeting client needs.
• Use in-person visits, presentations, calls and online communications to grow relationships.
• Leverage Salesforce and other tools to manage sales activities.
• Create territory/account plans with opportunities, strategies, and targets.
• Identify opportunities and work with sales leaders to grow funnel.
• Understand benefit administration systems and underwriting tools.
• Track market trends and competitive data to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with back-office and cross-functional teams to hit sales goals.
• Represent Amwins SM-B Benefits at meetings, events, and training.
• Provide underwriting information to carriers and build carrier relationships.
