Fifth Third Bank is seeking an SBA Market Specialist to originate, close, and service SBA loans. The role emphasizes promoting SBA lending products within the Fifth Third organization and in the assigned territory while meeting revenue targets and maintaining risk controls.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial banking or sales/underwriting, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to build internal and external relationships.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of SBA loan programs and other lending products.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years related business experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial banking or sales/ underwriting.
• Strong credit analysis, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient PC skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Originate, close, and service SBA loans (7(a), 504, USDA) within assigned territory.
• Identify qualified prospects and build internal/external relationships to promote lending products.
• Prepare loan documents and coordinate with Middle Office for approvals and packaging.
• Assist in servicing and liquidation of SBA loans per SBA guidelines and bank policy.
• Maintain risk controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
