Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing in SAP IS-U FI-CA. You will work with stakeholders and technical teams across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will prepare functional designs, tests, and documentation, support unit/integration testing, and provide production support and guidance to client teams. Travel 40-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configurations, and testing in utilities.
• Experience with FI-CA integration with Billing and FI/CO general ledger.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, business-partner relationships, accounts posting and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, bank interfaces, cash desk flows, and payment allocation.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, and other receivables processes.
• Support FI-CA events, BRF+ rules, and process automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with GL, period-end processing, and related billing/tax impacts.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Execute unit/integration testing and support UAT, regression, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and guidance to business users.
