Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, and financial processing in SAP FI-CA. You will work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional workstreams to ensure accurate processing across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on FI-CA experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel 40-60% as needed to support client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience with FI‑CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open-item management, and FI‑CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI‑CA integration with IS‑U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI‑CA contract accounts, business-partner relationships, and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, bank interfaces, and cash desk flows.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, and installment plans.
• Provide BRF+ guidance for process control, automation, and exception handling.
• Analyze FI‑CA integration with General Ledger, billing, tax, and customer-service transactions.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
