Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Sales Support to join our team remotely, with initial training in the Grand Rapids area. You will handle inbound calls and emails, gather details, explain options, and convert inquiries into scheduled service appointments.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, full-time employment, and a compensation range of $15 per hour with benefits and a 401(k) match. Training is provided to enable independent remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of call center experience.
• Experience with data entry, order processing, or administrative support.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection.
• Ability to hardwire company-provided equipment to your modem/router.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls and email inquiries regarding furniture repair, cleaning, and maintenance services.
• Gather detailed information about customer service needs, locations, and scheduling requirements.
• Explain service offerings, pricing, inspection fees, payment processes, and next steps.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records and service requests in company systems.
• Convert qualified inquiries into scheduled service appointments.
• Follow up on open quotes, voicemail requests, email leads, and incomplete inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper service coordination and customer satisfaction.
