Job summary

Silvus Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer for Unmanned Systems to join our team and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Business Development to tailor solutions for customers. You will participate in technical sales, demos and field support for our MIMO radio and mesh networking systems.

The role reports to the Senior Sales Engineer and suits an entrepreneurial technologist who enjoys customer interaction and travel. This position offers 100% remote work depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; or HS diploma with 6 years experience in pre- and post-sales technical support.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and customer training.
• Become an expert on Silvus radio and networking solutions and advantages.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and abnormal situations.
• Collect and analyze field data and feedback to development team.
• Assist Design Engineers to reproduce and troubleshoot problems.
• Support sales and BD activities through resource allocation and hardware maintenance.
• Contribute to future product development.
• Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
