Job summary

Motorola Solutions and Silvus Technologies seek a Sales Engineer - Unmanned Systems to tailor solutions with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. You will demonstrate, support, and optimize Silvus multi‑antenna MIMO radios and mesh networks for defense, law enforcement, and public safety customers.

Travel 50% and remote work options depend on location. The role requires a technical background in EE, RF tools, and programming, with customer-facing experience and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 6+ years pre/post-sales tech support with a HS diploma.
• Proficiency with RF instruments (signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites; US citizenship.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, planning and training at customer sites.
• Become expert on Silvus radio/mesh solutions and their competitive advantages.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to deliver technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and abnormal situations in the field.
• Gather field feedback and communicate with development teams.
• Assist design engineers in reproducing and debugging issues.
• Support sales and business development activities with resources planning.
• Contribute to future product development initiatives.
• Travel frequently; participate in meetings, events, and demos.
