Job summary

Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth of metrology solutions in the assigned territory. You will prospect, qualify opportunities, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and convert opportunities into orders, collaborating with technical and commercial teams to win new business.

This fully remote role allows you to manage a regional pipeline, travel occasionally to Huntersville, NC, and partner with ZEISS QEC and sales channels to tailor

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of technical sales, applications engineering, metrology, or related industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and create new sales opportunities
• Develop and execute a territory plan and identify opportunities for growth
• Travel within the assigned territory to prospect, meet customers, perform product demonstrations, and support other sales and marketing activities
• Collaborate with local teams at the ZEISS Quality Excellence Center (QEC) to support demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activities
• Maximize sales potential by identifying and sharing leads with other sales channels and teams
• Stay current on software and hardware capabilities to deliver high-quality customer demonstrations
• Follow the ZEISS Sales Process (ZSP) to tailor the best solutions for the customers’ specific needs
• Support sales and marketing events to promote our products and engage with potential customers
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, opportunity updates, and customer activity records in Salesforce
