Job summary

ZEISS in the United States seeks a Field Applications Engineer to support pre-sales and post-sales activities for advanced metrology systems. You will demonstrate products, train customers, and collaborate with the North American sales team to drive successful deployments.

The ideal candidate holds a four-year engineering, computer science, or physics degree, 2–3 years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50% while working in a hybrid office environment in

Excellent verbal communication skills.
Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Understanding of 3D mathematics and programming in modern languages.
Self-starter and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Provide technical consultation to field sales personnel and HOM dealer network on advanced applications and systems.
Facilitate the flow and accuracy of technical information to the field sales force.
Maintain a focus on advanced applications and new Zeiss technology.
Support the introduction of new products into the North American Market.
Provide technical training programs to field sales personnel and HOM dealer network.
