Qualifications

• Outside sales or technical sales experience in power, electrical equipment, or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the LOT territory.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across utility, industrial, renewable energy, and commercial markets.
• Build long-term relationships with investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, electric co-operatives, EPC contractors, industrial end users, consulting engineers, OEMs, and electrical distributors.
• Promote Virginia Transformer's complete portfolio of power transformer solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and technical solutions for customer projects.
• Manage opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from prospecting through project execution.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer information within CRM.
• Represent Virginia Transformer at industry conferences, customer meetings, and trade events.
• Stay informed on industry trends, utility capital projects, renewable energy developments, and competitive activity throughout the territory.
