Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Sales Engineer - Fire Protection for a remote position based in Bangalore. The role requires 7–10 years of experience and involves promoting Victaulic fire protection systems to Owners, engineering offices, contractors, and distributors.

Reporting to Regional Sales Manager, you will travel as needed, demonstrate Victaulic tools, and ensure the system knowledge is present in the territory through training, seminars, and technical literature.

Qualifications

• University or College degree, preferably as mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent technical knowledge acquired through experience.
• Familiarity with the Piping Products & System or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. Similar Fire products knowledge is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote the Victaulic product range in the territory.
• Prospect and visit Owners, Engineering Offices – MEP Consultants, Job Sites, PMC, Architects, Contractors, Distributors, and all other relevant instances to promote the Victaulic System in the territory.
• Demonstrate and explain the Victaulic tools.
• Pursue and obtain acceptance and specification of the Victaulic System by Industry, Owners, Engineering Companies and Contractors.
• Ensure proper knowledge of the Victaulic System is present in the territory through seminars, training, literature, and technical support.
• Participate at trade shows and other promotional activities beneficial to the promotion of the Victaulic system.
• Liaise with the local Victaulic distributor to ensure proper information flow is available and maintained.
• Visit job sites and follow up on installation; train contractor personnel in usage and installation.
• Handle product claims in cooperation with Victaulic Corporate Engineering.
• Provide assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables for customers
• Report weekly to superior on activities and marketing information; achieve budgeted sales in territory.
• Coordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.
