Job summary

Victaulic is seeking an Applications Engineer for Fire Protection in the United States. The role focuses on becoming a technical resource for products and system solutions, developing knowledge of commercial fire protection components, and gaining familiarity with FM, UL, and NFPA codes.

You will provide engineering support to customers and the sales team, investigate field installations, and address inquiries on features and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience with fire protection systems or mechanical piping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become a technical resource for Victaulic products and system solutions.
• Develop working knowledge of commercial fire protection systems and components.
• Learn applicable codes and standards including FM, UL, and NFPA.
• Provide engineering consulting and technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Investigate field installations and product performance issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries about features, benefits, and applications.
