Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive the sales and development of the Fire Protection product range in the Southern UK region. You will promote the Victaulic FP system, demonstrate installation, and liaise with distributors and customers.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, 5+ years of technical experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 75%. Internal training and a bonus-based remuneration are offered.

Qualifications

• University/college degree, preferably mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Technical knowledge gained through 5+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with piping business or ability to acquire needed knowledge quickly.
• Commercial mindset with customer-oriented approach.
• Result-driven in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.
• Strong communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Victaulic FP product range in the region.
• Demonstrate proper installation of Victaulic FP products and tools.
• Secure acceptance and specification by owners and engineering firms.
• Provide technical support and seminars/training.
• Liaise with local distributor and ensure information flow.
• Visit job sites and assist contractors with installation.
• Handle product claims with engineering department.
• Assist finance in collecting receivables.
• Coordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.
