Job summary

Checkly is seeking a Sales Engineer to empower developers and agents to own reliability from PR to post-mortem. You will help customers through technical evaluations, answer questions, and contribute to documentation as you learn what works.

You will collaborate with the sales team to demonstrate Checkly, engage with engineering teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly in an async-enabled, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Some professional experience in a technical, customer‑adjacent role.
• Strong JavaScript/Node.js coding skills and ability to read, write, and debug code.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate customer-facing work.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Learn Checkly and the Monitoring space deeply and help customers solve reliability problems.
• Support prospects through technical evaluations with our CSE and sales team.
• Assist existing customers with technical questions, implementations and adoption.
• Contribute to technical documentation and internal playbooks as you learn what works.
• Speak with customers directly and share learnings with Product and Engineering.
