Checkly Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to empower developers and agents in ensuring application performance from PR to post-mortem.

Join a team that unifies testing, synthetic monitoring, and observability in an AI-native workflow, collaborating with product and engineering to improve reliability. You will learn the monitoring space deeply, support technical evaluations, help customers with implementations, and contribute to internal playbooks while working in an async-friendly, inclusive

Qualifications

Experience in a technical, customer-adjacent role (software engineering, consulting, or developer relations).
Strong ability to read, write, and debug code in a modern language (Javascript/Node.js preferred).
Experience using AI tools to speed customer-facing work (e.g., code demos, tailored responses).
Comfort speaking with customers, giving demos, and explaining concepts clearly.
Excellent spoken and written English skills.

Responsibilities

Learn Checkly and the Monitoring space deeply to help customers solve reliability problems.
Support prospects during technical evaluations with the sales team.
Assist customers with technical questions, implementations, and adoption.
Contribute to technical docs and internal playbooks as you learn what works.
Speak with customers and share learnings with Product and Engineering.
