Job summary

The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Sales Instructional Designer to support the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of commercial training programs. This fully remote role includes onboarding, microlearning content, and competency-based assessments to boost sales readiness.

You will collaborate with scientific SMEs and cross-functional partners to translate complex concepts into effective learning solutions aligned with business objectives. Occasional travel (10%) is required.

Qualifications

• Translates complex scientific concepts into clear learning solutions.
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and eLearning best practices.
• Proficiency with LMS; Brainshark or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong consulting, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience developing digital learning content, including multimedia, visual, and interactive materials.
• Proven project management ability to prioritize work, manage multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain sales training programs using evidence-based instructional design practices.
• Partner with sales leaders, stakeholders, and SMEs to identify learning needs.
• Collaborate with internal learning resources to ensure training content is accurate, aligned, and scalable.
• Administer the LMS and coordinate delivery of virtual, in-person, and self-paced learning programs.
• Measure training effectiveness through assessments, reporting, and performance metrics; recommend improvements.
• Manage multiple training projects to ensure timely delivery and quality.
