Job summary

MRI Software seeks a driven Sales Development Representative to expand our North America customer base. You will qualify leads for the sales team through outbound calls, emails, and social channels, and you will gather market insights to inform strategy.

As a key member of our Marketing function, you will surface qualified opportunities, document activity in Salesforce, and participate in ongoing product and sales trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 1+ years of experience in sales, marketing or lead generation (B2B experience preferred).
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding phone presence with the ability to create trust with prospective clients.
• Self-motivated and driven to plan and execute rigorous lead generation calls.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, WebEx and Salesforce.com.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and actively approach new customers in the North America region
• Perform various outbound call campaigns around trade shows, events, or target markets
• Research and gather information about target companies
• Meet or exceed quotas for qualified leads passed to the sales team
• Document all activities in CRM system (Salesforce)
• Explain MRI's business value clearly to prospective clients
• Participate in sales and product trainings
• Other duties as assigned
