Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Sales Contract Manager to develop, negotiate, execute, and oversee contracts for the Hospital Sales team. This role partners cross-functionally across the contract lifecycle, translating business needs into compliant agreements with attention to risk and commercial terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience with Salesforce and contract lifecycle management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage the negotiating process of contracts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and legal compliance.
• Proficiency in CLM software for contract management, workflow automation, and reporting.
• Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations while monitoring key deadlines and obligations.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and business units to ensure contracts meet organizational needs.
• Assess risks associated with contracts and implement strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, terms, and modifications in contract management systems.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and partners to facilitate smooth contract execution.
• Ensure contract governance, adherence to policies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Resolve contract-related disputes and issues with vendors, clients, or internal teams.
• Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on contract processes and best practices.
• Analyze and report contract data to support strategic decision-making.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and project leader for large projects.
