Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer (RTE) to serve as a servant leader, facilitator, and coach for a complex Agile Release Train within SAFe.

You will promote Agile practices, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement across multiple Scrum teams and value streams. You will collaborate with business and technology leaders to align objectives, optimize value delivery, and ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, CS or equivalent.
• 7+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in Scrum Master/Agile leadership roles.
• Extensive SAFe Release Train experience."
• Current SAFe RTE, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or comparable certification.
• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles.
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex programs across teams.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilitator for a complex ART, ensuring SAFe principles and ceremonies are followed.
• Lead and facilitate ART events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
• Coach, mentor and influence Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders at all levels on Lean-Agile practices.
• Partner with Product Management and other stakeholders to align strategic objectives with execution.
• Identify and resolve program-level dependencies, risks, and impediments affecting value flow.
• Drive continuous improvement by facilitating Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Promote collaboration among teams, architects, and business stakeholders to improve delivery.
• Use agile metrics and program health indicators to assess ART performance.
